Tales from the Expat Harem
This is a good book full of the true stories of expat women living in Turkey. The anecdotes are at once funny and touching. My only gripe is that I do find some of these women to be exaggerating many of the quirkier aspects of Turkish life, but some might say that creative embellishment is the mark of a good storyteller.
